Elevate QuickSeam Batten Cover Strip 150mm (6")

This Elevate EPDM Cover Tape is 6 inches wide and has been specially designed to cover, protect and seal batten strips and when joining two pieces of EPDM (where there is no overlap).

Elevate EPDM Cover Tape consists of a semi-cured EPDM membrane that has been laminated to an EPDM pressure sensitive tape adhesive. The QuickSeam Cover Tape must always be used with Tape Primer in order to achieve the best adhesion when working with surfaces of EPDM etc. The generous width of this cover tape means it's better suited than other narrower EPDM tapes.

When using, ensure the QuickSeam EPDM cover tape strip is at room temperature and all surfaces have been correctly primed. Centre the Cover Strip over the batten bar or the seam, ensuring there's no overlap at T-junctions. Always refer to the Elevate guidelines for full installation instructions.

Depending on length of batten bars or seams to be covered by the EPDM strip, ensure a minimum overlap of 75 mm at the start/end of the batten strip. Adjoining cover strips require an overlap of 25 mm and a QuickSeam FormFlash cover patch is recommended to ensure durable waterproofing.
